Our goal is to go above and beyond to give our customers the best possible gear available. Many of our customers take our gear with them on what may be an adventure of a lifetime and we strive to help make those adventures amazing. We only make gear that we would use ourselves. All of our gear is built in the United States right here in our workshop by our skilled seamsters and seamstresses.
At Zootility Tools, we pride ourselves on building functional, whimsical products for everyday use. From simple wool socks to our famous cold-busting parkas, Woolrich products have embraced the authentic outdoor lifestyle since 1830. We strive to design functional, comfortable and durable sportswear and outerwear for Men and Women using traditional fabrics like wool, cotton and down. In recent years, in an effort to provide superior comfort and protection in all conditions, we've incorporated more technical performance fibers, like nylon and polyester. As the oldest continuously operating woolen mill in the United States, the Woolrich Mill provided wool blankets to Civil War soldiers, and continues to produce some of the country's finest wool blankets today. Over the years we have pioneered many styles that have become American Classics, a number of which are still popular today.
The Wild Things journey began in 1981, when our two founders Marie Meunier and John Bouchard, accomplished mountaineers, created their own line of lightweight, superior gear out of dissatisfaction with available products. Wild Things grew throughout the '80s with input from some of the world's most gifted climbers including Charlie Fowler, Mark Richey, Steve Larson, Dave Nettle, Anne Smith, Mugs Stump, Rick Sylevester, and Dean Potter. By 1990, with the help of these and other climbers, Wild Things had achieved a cult-like following amongst the world's climbing elite. Wild Things sewn slings, chalk bags, climbing packs, bivy sacks, and high altitude technical clothing were part of nearly every big climb from 1983 to 1990. In the early 2000s, Wild Things' reputation for uncommon, lightweight, tough gear caught the attention of U.S. Special Forces, and we began making bespoke, made-to-order kits for individual units. Since then, Wild Things has earned a reputation for tough, lightweight technical outerwear, alpine-style backpacks, durable haul–bags, and innovative tactical and military clothing. Our products are currently in the field with every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces and often tailored for mission-specific goals.
Since 1905 my Wigwam® has been committed to our employees, our community and knitting fine quality socks just for you.
More than 45 years ago, two northern California mountaineers came together with a vision of un-compromised excellence. A dedicated search for the finest raw materials, meticulous design and unsurpassed workmanship have come together to provide you the highest quality sleeping bags available anywhere. Our history is more than just two young men building sleeping bags. Today we still remain a small independent company. We are responsible for and in control of ourselves and hold true to our roots. We are a hands on company, with an in the house owner. All WM products are driven by a personal commitment to excellence and they remain true, fair, honest and the best. We make all of our sleeping bags in our factory in San Jose and are here to give our customers the quality they want with Made in USA pride.
The stories and memories made by the Furrer family are the foundation of our company today. Family and friends and their paddling adventures are what fueled Werner Sr's desire to design and build a better paddling paddle. Today we call it Ultimate Paddle Performance; it's our mission statement. In our desire to be an active member of this community, we continue to participate and give back. We treat our employees, vendors, dealers, team and customers with utmost respect. Like an extension of the Family that started it all. We believe that Handcrafted in Sultan, WA is certainly a thing to be proud of in this day and age. But beyond just keeping jobs in the US, we design and build to a higher standard. An attention to detail that truly makes our paddles perform the way they do. That pride in our work spans from designers, testers and craftsman to, we hope, the very hands of paddlers everywhere. Our place in our community now and tomorrow is forged by our past; the desire to design and build paddle performance that you will feel in your hands and trust through the water, with every stroke.
For 50 years, we've handcrafted the world's most innovative canoes. Each is purpose-built to take your experience further, no matter the destination.
All Waymark Gear is handmade here in the United States in Salt Lake City, UT. We are a small cottage company outfitting Thru Hikers, Section Hikers, Weekend adventurers and World travelers. We don't currently outsource any of our labor, so everything is meticulously made one by one with attention to quality and detail. Can you buy a similar pack with a frame for the same price or less at one of the big brand outfitters? Yes, but it was made overseas for pennies on the dollar in mass production. At that same big brand outfitter, can you pick and choose colors, add pockets and custom options to your specifications? No.
Plug-n-play camper van kits. A Wayfarer Van is a camper van created for everyday adventures.
In 1998, Waterworks acquired Lamson and, along with Waterworks Force reels, now had two brands sharing the core technology and design ethos of simplicity and function-driven styling. The line-up of reels has radiated into specialized niches over time: two handed, salt water, super-arbor, and rugged environments. The pursuit of inspired design and solid engineering has driven Waterworks-Lamson's fly reel innovation for two decades, with no end in sight.
Watershed was founded in 1995 with a singular mission: build waterproof bags in the USA that we, as adventurers, could trust to keep our most cherished possessions dry under any conditions. The Watershed bag closure system has been tested by the US Navy to 100 meters submersion without any leakage whatsoever. Watershed bags are low maintenance, rugged, and extremely waterproof. Theyre built for everything from social outings to survival situations. Our bags were immediately embraced by raft guides and whitewater kayakers. Over time, Watershed bags have gained popularity with sailors, surfers, fly fishermen, offshore fishermen, hunters, scuba divers, and oilfield workers. Watershed bags are built for serious outdoor adventurers, not for big box discount retailers. In 2000, the US Navy SEALs asked Watershed to build a custom suite of waterproof bags for military applications. Since then, we have provided a line of military-specific waterproof bags to all branches of US Special Operations as well as NATO and other allied forces on every continent. Since 1995 Watershed has remained true to our roots, continuing to manufacture all of our bags in North Carolina even as our competitors cut corners by importing bags from overseas. We are committed to designing, testing, and producing our product in the USA. Were also committed to producing the best drybags on the planet.
From humble beginnings to a true budding rod business, one thing has remained the same; every rod Walton Rods makes will always be built right here in the USA and we will always put our ethics and integrity above all else. This is an honor and privilege that we do not take lightly.
Custom surfboards and wake surfboards. Made in the USA. Since 1996 the Walker Surfboards brand has been built upon a love for the evolution of board design. We believe the perfect boards is not a particular pro model, a certain size or shape. Its the one that allows YOU the rider to extract the most out of your time in the water. For some surfing is a hobby, for others its a sport, or maybe even a way of life. Whether youre wake surfing an endless wave behind a boat or getting barreled in a remote part of the ocean.Either way it all comes down to getting out there on your terms and shaping memories of your own. That is why we do what we do To aid in that escapism. Since 1996, Built In The Pursuit Of Freedom

Voler Cycling Apparel. Voler was founded in 1986 in San Luis Obispo, California. What began as a small operation producing windsurfing bags and cycling helmet covers quickly morphed into creating top-notch custom cycling apparel for teams, events, and other cycling brands. By 1996 Voler moved to Grover Beach (15 minutes south of SLO) and ramped up production in a much larger facility. We added on to the facility in 1999 and started the Voler online Store (previously Velowear) selling our non-customized branded apparel direct to consumer. It is not by chance that we proudly claim USA Made (The products we carry that are not made in our factory are clearly marked as such on our website). Our commitment to the manufacturing of premium quality cycling apparel at our Grover Beach California factory extends beyond ensuring we produce the finest product possible; it's about integrity in the way we treat our employees, customers, and the environment.
Are we a French Company? The short answer is no. Let's put it this way: A microwaved burrito is way more common in our lunchroom than a baguette and brie. After work, beer is far more likely to be imbibed than wine. And secondhand smoke from a Gauloise would never be tolerated. So what's up with our Eurotrash, pseudo-Franco-phile name? We're not even sure ourselves, but what we do know is that for 35 years the name Voilé (vò-lay) has been synonymous with backcountry winter adventure. Rather than the Alps, we are located minutes away from the best snow on earth: the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. . . Voilé has always been a company willing to try anything and then perfect the hell out of it. The end product may not be a sexy or expensive as it could be, but to bear our logo it will definitely deliver performance, reliability, durability, and will simultaneously remain as lightweight as possible. . . All history aside, we realize that nobody on the planet buys a pair of skis based on the past. Today is all that counts. Competition in the backcountry category is fierce, and the end user is more discriminating than ever. As a result, Voilé ski design is constantly evolving. There are, however, a few ideas that never change. The hallmarks of any Voilé ski will always be solid and lightweight construction in a design that performs, but doesn't break the bank. Witness this year's line of award winning backcountry skis, and know they are all hand-crafted with care, under one roof, in the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains.
Snowboards and splitboards hand crafted by snowboarders like you in Silverton, Colorado, USA.
VEDAVOO was born in my garage - where I taught myself how to sew on a classic sailmaking machine I bought on Craigslist. Having grown up in Wyoming, gear I used along the trail left me wanting more. So I set out to design packs that were more comfortable, more versatile, and easier to use in the field – but, most importantly, ready to be made in the USA.
Our slogan – BETTER AMERICAN GEAR – reflects what we do and how we do it: From my garage – to basements and dining rooms – to the New England workshop where we work today, our local craftsmen hand-build each of our products using the best materials (American and reclaimed wherever possible) for quality you can count on.
There may be easier roads – but they aren’t ours.
Hand built in Summit County, Colorado since 1995. Weve been building some of the worlds finest snowboards in the heart of the Rocky Mountains since 1995. Our focus is on durability, performance, and trying to push board design in a creative direction. We are one of the few board companies that build our own boards in our own factory. This allows us to make a truly unique product. We use a custom highly toughened epoxy system, a special combination of maple and aspen wood cores, and a truly unique damping process in all of our boards to give them a different feel than anything else on the market.
We started United By Blue in 2010 out of a desire to preserve the place where we play. Instead of writing checks or accepting donations, we wanted to make a real, tangible impact on our oceans — and there are few things more tangible than hauling tires out of riverbeds or picking up plastic bottles along the shoreline. So we pledged to remove a pound of trash from the earth’s oceans and waterways for every product we sell through company-organized cleanups. We hosted our first cleanup the same week we sold our first T-shirt. We’ve since expanded from a handful of organic cotton tees to a full line of responsible, durable goods — apparel, bags, and accessories for people who care about the outdoors. We thoughtfully make all of our products with sustainable materials (organic cotton, recycled polyester, and bison fiber are some of our favorite things to work with). United By Blue products can be found in more than 400 outlets nationally and in our stores in Philadelphia, Asbury Park, and NYC.

Topo Designs strives for contradiction. We are rooted in mountain culture and outdoor living, but love exploring cities and world travel. We look to proven classics for inspiration, yet take advantage of innovative technologies to ensure a timeless look with modern functionality. We are uncomplicated and utilitarian, but with a sense of design and style through simplicity. Our goal is to not have to choose a single path—we want to live on both sides of the fence, where life is always greener.
When 10-year-old Tom Bihn asked his parents for money to buy the equipment he wanted for his nascent outdoor adventures, they suggested two options: get an after-school job and earn the money, or "just figure out how to make it yourself." Up for the challenge, Tom chose the second option. His grandmother had an old Singer home sewing machine which his brother Dan helped get running; Tom's mom taught him how to sew and his dad provided the foundations of the necessary engineering. More than 40 years later, Tom's still at it — designing and making the best backpacks, briefcases, and travel bags.
It was never about bags. What began as a commitment to craft and local manufacturing in 1989 became a revolution in business practices. Since then, we've been making bags built to last a lifetime.
No matter how technological the fishing industry becomes, its nice to know it still holds a place for the timeless values of integrity and Old World craftsmanship. In the world of fly fishing, that place is occupied by legends like Billy Pate, Lefty Kreh and a Hungarian tool and die master with a passion for fly fishing and a gift for reel design: Tibor Ted Juracsik. Teds family business, Tibor (pronounced TEE-bor) Reel Corporation is the world leader in the design and manufacture of the highest quality fly fishing reels. Juracsik revolutionized the saltwater fly fishing reel industry with the introduction of his first anti-reverse Billy Pate Fly Reel in 1976 and has continued to revolutionize the fly fishing world with his Tibor, Tibor Light and Tibor Signature reels. . . Tibor reels are made by fishermen for fishermen, and the Juracsik family is proud their products are 100% Made in the USA. With the exception of the ball bearings, every part of every reel is precision machined and hand assembled in their Delray Beach facility. Teds belief in design based on simplicity and functionality goes back to his days as a young apprentice. The old masters always told me the most beautiful machines have the least moving parts, he says. In 2017, Tibor Reels earned 68 new world records according to the International Game Fish Association (IGFA). This brings the Tibors World Record count to over 900 more than any other fly fishing reel in history. IGFA Hall of Fame fisherman, Lefty Kreh, describes Tibor Reels as the finest saltwater reels I have ever used. They are the prized possession of every fisherman who owns one. Each is capable of delivering a lifetime of virtually maintenance-free fishing enjoyment for which Tibor Reels are famous.

Making your time outdoors more enjoyable. In 1971, a fortuitous mix of unemployed engineers, a leaky foam gardening pad, and the dream of a better way to sleep under the stars came together to change how we experience the outdoors forever. As climbers, Jim Lea, Neil Anderson and John Burroughs knew firsthand that long days in the hills were only made longer by a horrible night's rest, and a better sleeping pad was key to changing that equation. This blend of science and a desire to make the most of every day outdoors created the world's first self-inflating air mattress, and it continues to be the fuel that drives us today. Today, Therm-a-Rest [a brand of Cascade Designs] remains at the forefront of comfort innovation and quality, with a commitment to building what we make, with our own hands, whenever possible. Between our company-owned manufacturing facilities in Seattle, USA and Cork, Ireland, the vast majority of our sales world-wide come from products that have been built by Therm-a-Rest employees. Another one of our pillars is to use the best materials we can make or source for our finished products. Sometimes this means U.S.A., but we face major challenges since the broader market has driven entire industries from the U.S. This often leaves us without options that meet our quality standards, supply demands, or simply no domestic choices at all. The solution to maintaining our quality then can be a reliance on global sourcing for things we build in Seattle. Thats while youll often see Made in the U.S.A. of U.S. and Imported Materials on our U.S.-manufactured products, providing you transparency into the manufacturing and sourcing of our products in all situations.

Refreshingly Simple Gear for Extraordinary Needs.
Started as Laser Products, the leading manufacturer of rugged, powerful and compact illumination tools for tactical applications - from weapon-mounted lights and laser sights, shield lights and baton lights to hand-held lights powerful and bright enough to qualify as "force-option" tools that could temporarily blind, unbalance, and disorient a threat, eventually the SureFire name became so synonymous with excellence in hand-held illumination tools that the company name, Laser Products, was changed to SureFire LLC.

Supai Adventure Gear, LLC makes ultralight inflatable rafts with a durable light weight fabric and a high quality welding process that makes the seam stronger than the fabric itself and in doing so shaved another pound off the raft, making it 1.5 pounds and packing up to the size of a Nalgene water bottle. Our ultralight inflatable rafts have been on many adventures, including the Grand Canyon and John Muir Trail.
To meet him was to never forget him. George “Stormy” Kromer was genuine, and that spirit reached every corner of a company he never planned to start in the first place. He simply wanted a piece of headgear that worked as hard as he did. One cap led to a thousand and then many millions, but a century later we’re still making products as authentically as the first one—from materials to methods. You can’t pretend to be a legend. It’s something you earn from your customers, your commitments, and always carrying through.
Reclaiming the tradition of handcrafted care with custom wood landing nets.
Stone Glacier is a result of 15 years of solo sheep hunts from the Dall country of Alaska to the unlimited districts of Montana's Beartooth Wilderness. Minimizing pack and gear weight increases usable load, which in turn extends your range in the backcountry. My quest for ultralight backpacking gear began 15 years ago and has been a slow and organic process of development, testing, and refining. The goal has been straightforward: build the lightest, most durable gear using only the toughest technical materials available. After hundreds of miles of testing on the trail, years of research and design, this goal has been accomplished. Stone Glacier...redefining the capabilities of ultralight. All Stone Glacier packs and accessories are proudly made in the USA. Not only do we manufacture our products in the United States but where applicable we also use materials and components that are Made in the USA. Our Head Quarters shop is located in Bozeman, MT where all Stone Glacier products are assembled, inspected, packaged and shipped by Stone Glacier employees.
