The simple sandal is perhaps one of the oldest human inventions. Human beings have learned that protecting the bottom of our feet can give us a huge advantage in many environments. After the famed 2006 Copper Canyon Ultra-Marathon, Ted began tinkering and experimenting with sandal designs. In 2007 he went back to the Copper Canyon Ultra and ran the race in a pair of huarache sandals that he himself had made. He was hooked, and knew he was onto something that he really wanted to share with the world. In late 2010... LUNA grew enough to move production into a small space on Capitol Hill in Seattle where they got started on the adventure of developing, learning, struggling, and growing the business of LUNA Sandals. Now located in a beautiful space just 3 blocks north of the Space Needle, in Seattle with 19 full time employees, LUNA's team, products, and processes have grown and evolved immensely. Melanzana is a homegrown outdoor clothing company in the historic mining town of Leadville, Colorado. We are dedicated to designing and building high-performance clothing that is a little different from what you can find in typical outdoor stores. We are small! Twenty employees design, cut, sew and sell everything. We have created a clothing company that operates on a local, low-impact scale, yet produces performance clothes to compete with the big boys. Without cheap foreign labor! When you buy from us, so much more of your money goes to the people who actually make the product. A lot less cash goes to the costs of shipping materials & products around the world and back, or to huge corporate headquarters, secret teams of lawyers, and lame promotional campaigns. We barely advertise, we do not wholesale to other stores, and we pass the savings on to you.

Our mission is simple to imagine, create, and distribute unique, well-built fly fishing rods at a price point that real people can afford. We craft our rods in hopes they inspire a revival a return to the pure and simple spirit of adventure moments that stir the soul. Our distinctive style is certainly derived from the classics; from our custom reel seats turned from strikingly grained burl woods, to our hand turned cork grips, and high performance rod blanks, every one of our rods whispers the beginning of a unique story - one that's bound to be epic. All of our Midnight Specials are hand crafted in the USA using high quality foreign components. All of our other rods are assembled, by hand, overseas, utilizing South Korean and Japanese graphite or glass, and top quality hardware. We personally inspect each rod upon receiving them, polish the reel seat and make sure they are awesome before we send them your way. If we could make all of our rods in the USA at our current price points, we would, however it is currently not possible. We've chosen to give regular folks the option of buying an exceptionally high quality fly rod made using top end materials, at a price that they can actually afford.
At MRP We believe that everyone should follow their passion. Its what drives us to design and make components with the attention to detail and excellence that you can count on when you are living your passion. And its what moves us to provide you with an unexpected, personal level of service that you deserve. MRP components are born on the trails of Colorado designed, tested, and handcrafted by riders, who like you, are driven by our passion. You can count on MRP to take you where you are driven to go. Our product designs start with the performance result we want to achieve not a cost or time target. We believe in blazing new trails, not following the crowds. Our components are designed in-house, proto-typed in house, and tested on our local Colorado trails. As riders, we want great components that last, and believe that you deserve the same. We control our production to ensure the highest quality products. This drives us to make as much in our facility in Colorado as possible. We use the best materials and processes in order to make the best products. Our components are hand built and assembled in Colorado in small batches. This allows us to do things that an assembly line in Asia wont do like 100% dyno test our suspension. This takes extra time, but ensures that every fork or rear shock performs the exact way it was designed when it leaves our shop. All of this provides a level of attention and care we believe you deserve when buying a high-end component.

We offer a broad line of products for recreational climbers and a professional grade line of steel and aluminum carabiners for firefighters, rope access and working at height. Quality is a culture here. Ten minutes from downtown Portland, you’ll find the ON3P factory. It’s not operated by some OEM company, nor are we some mega-factory building our skis overseas. It’s where our small crew of ski builders come to work and build each and every pair of ON3P skis. Since the beginning, we’ve believed we could build skis better, build them ourselves, and build them here in America. We’re skiers who founded a manufacturing company, not one who entered the game as an overfunded marketing business, focused on creating hype, then outsourcing our production. There’s no pride in skis we didn’t press, nor a personal stake in skis being sent off to be built by someone else. Above all else, we cherish the knowledge that we’ve created every aspect of the skis we take to the mountains and ski on our days off. There’s pride in what we do and without our craft, we’re just like the rest. But with it, we’re ON3P.
