From simple wool socks to our famous cold-busting parkas, Woolrich products have embraced the authentic outdoor lifestyle since 1830. We strive to design functional, comfortable and durable sportswear and outerwear for Men and Women using traditional fabrics like wool, cotton and down. In recent years, in an effort to provide superior comfort and protection in all conditions, we’ve incorporated more technical performance fibers, like nylon and polyester. As the oldest continuously operating woolen mill in the United States, the Woolrich Mill provided wool blankets to Civil War soldiers, and continues to produce some of the country’s finest wool blankets today. Over the years we have pioneered many styles that have become American Classics, a number of which are still popular today.
The stories and memories made by the Furrer family are the foundation of our company today. Family and friends and their paddling adventures are what fueled Werner Sr’s desire to design and build a better paddling paddle. Today we call it Ultimate Paddle Performance; it’s our mission statement. In our desire to be an active member of this community, we continue to participate and give back. We treat our employees, vendors, dealers, team and customers with utmost respect. Like an extension of the Family that started it all. We believe that Handcrafted in Sultan, WA is certainly a thing to be proud of in this day and age. But beyond just keeping jobs in the US, we design and build to a higher standard. An attention to detail that truly makes our paddles perform the way they do. That pride in our work spans from designers, testers and craftsman to, we hope, the very hands of paddlers everywhere. Our place in our community now and tomorrow is forged by our past; the desire to design and build paddle performance that you will feel in your hands and trust through the water, with every stroke.
In 1998, Waterworks acquired Lamson and, along with Waterworks Force reels, now had two brands sharing the core technology and design ethos of simplicity and function-driven styling. The line-up of reels has radiated into specialized niches over time: two handed, salt water, super-arbor, and rugged environments. The pursuit of inspired design and solid engineering has driven Waterworks-Lamson’s fly reel innovation for two decades, with no end in sight.
Watershed was founded in 1995 with a singular mission: build waterproof bags in the USA that we, as adventurers, could trust to keep our most cherished possessions dry under any conditions. The Watershed bag closure system has been tested by the US Navy to 100 meters submersion without any leakage whatsoever. Watershed bags are low maintenance, rugged, and extremely waterproof. Theyre built for everything from social outings to survival situations. Our bags were immediately embraced by raft guides and whitewater kayakers. Over time, Watershed bags have gained popularity with sailors, surfers, fly fishermen, offshore fishermen, hunters, scuba divers, and oilfield workers. Watershed bags are built for serious outdoor adventurers, not for big box discount retailers. In 2000, the US Navy SEALs asked Watershed to build a custom suite of waterproof bags for military applications. Since then, we have provided a line of military-specific waterproof bags to all branches of US Special Operations as well as NATO and other allied forces on every continent. Since 1995 Watershed has remained true to our roots, continuing to manufacture all of our bags in North Carolina even as our competitors cut corners by importing bags from overseas. We are committed to designing, testing, and producing our product in the USA. Were also committed to producing the best drybags on the planet.
From humble beginnings to a true budding rod business, one thing has remained the same; every rod Walton Rods makes will always be built right here in the USA and we will always put our ethics and integrity above all else. This is an honor and privilege that we do not take lightly.
VEDAVOO was born in my garage – where I taught myself how to sew on a classic sailmaking machine I bought on Craigslist. Having grown up in Wyoming, gear I used along the trail left me wanting more. So I set out to design packs that were more comfortable, more versatile, and easier to use in the field – but, most importantly, ready to be made in the USA.
Our slogan – BETTER AMERICAN GEAR – reflects what we do and how we do it: From my garage – to basements and dining rooms – to the New England workshop where we work today, our local craftsmen hand-build each of our products using the best materials (American and reclaimed wherever possible) for quality you can count on.
There may be easier roads – but they aren’t ours.
Topo Designs strives for contradiction. We are rooted in mountain culture and outdoor living, but love exploring cities and world travel. We look to proven classics for inspiration, yet take advantage of innovative technologies to ensure a timeless look with modern functionality. We are uncomplicated and utilitarian, but with a sense of design and style through simplicity. Our goal is to not have to choose a single path—we want to live on both sides of the fence, where life is always greener.
No matter how technological the fishing industry becomes, its nice to know it still holds a place for the timeless values of integrity and Old World craftsmanship. In the world of fly fishing, that place is occupied by legends like Billy Pate, Lefty Kreh and a Hungarian tool and die master with a passion for fly fishing and a gift for reel design: Tibor Ted Juracsik. Teds family business, Tibor (pronounced TEE-bor) Reel Corporation is the world leader in the design and manufacture of the highest quality fly fishing reels. Juracsik revolutionized the saltwater fly fishing reel industry with the introduction of his first anti-reverse Billy Pate Fly Reel in 1976 and has continued to revolutionize the fly fishing world with his Tibor, Tibor Light and Tibor Signature reels. . . Tibor reels are made by fishermen for fishermen, and the Juracsik family is proud their products are 100% Made in the USA. With the exception of the ball bearings, every part of every reel is precision machined and hand assembled in their Delray Beach facility. Teds belief in design based on simplicity and functionality goes back to his days as a young apprentice. The old masters always told me the most beautiful machines have the least moving parts, he says. In 2017, Tibor Reels earned 68 new world records according to the International Game Fish Association (IGFA). This brings the Tibors World Record count to over 900 more than any other fly fishing reel in history. IGFA Hall of Fame fisherman, Lefty Kreh, describes Tibor Reels as the finest saltwater reels I have ever used. They are the prized possession of every fisherman who owns one. Each is capable of delivering a lifetime of virtually maintenance-free fishing enjoyment for which Tibor Reels are famous.
We believe in many things at Thomas & Thomas, most are pretty simple. Things like being kind to people, doing what’s right vs. what’s easy, leaving things better than you found them and trusting the person next to you. Simple values we try to live by every day, on the water and in our work. We also believe in America, and in American craftsmanship, innovation and quality. It’s a big part of who we are and the success we continue to have. It’s why we guarantee every Thomas & Thomas fly rod to be 100% American Made.
Since 2019 we’ve been making dropper rig fly boxes here in Colorado. Our boxes are the best system for fly and rig storage, holding up to 8 rigs and 276 flies. We strive to make premium fly fishing products that are rugged and dependable, that’s why we designed, manufactured and assembled these things ourselves. With our box, you can finally quit wasting time rigging up and get to what’s really important—fishing!
To meet him was to never forget him. George “Stormy” Kromer was genuine, and that spirit reached every corner of a company he never planned to start in the first place. He simply wanted a piece of headgear that worked as hard as he did. One cap led to a thousand and then many millions, but a century later we’re still making products as authentically as the first one—from materials to methods. You can’t pretend to be a legend. It’s something you earn from your customers, your commitments, and always carrying through.

Simms is a fishing company. Founded on the pillars of innovation we strive to build the highest quality products to keep anglers dry, comfortable, and protected from the elements – no matter the conditions. In 1993, the company relocated to Bozeman, Montana, and introduced breathable waders in a trailblazing partnership with W.L. Gore & Associates (makers of GORE-TEX® fabric). With staunch commitment to U.S.-based manufacturing and business ideals, Simms cemented its Bozeman roots in 2012 with a new 60,000-square-foot facility housing corporate headquarters, warehouses, and its production facility. Today, Simms continues to take the fishing market by storm with a trained eye on fisheries conservation and inspired product development of the world’s premier technical fishing apparel, footwear, and equipment.
We are an experimental brand. We just happen to make sunglasses. A simple experiment with nature. Born from the limb of a Madrone tree, a rusty pair of cabinet hinges, and lenses from the corner store, Shwood has been a curious endeavor from the beginning. An endeavor to create a product that encompasses the individuality and uniqueness that can only be found in natural surroundings. A desire to experiment with design, materials, and aesthetics in the search for something that works. Free from passing trends, the brand’s focus remains that of its roots, innovation and creation. Long live creativity.
For over 30 years, we here at SealLine [a brand of Cascade Designs] have endeavored to make protective gear to stand up to water, wind, and dirt in challenging outdoor environments. We believe your pursuits shouldn’t be limited by your gear, so we design, test, and build our products to deliver protection you can depend upon. Our legendarily rugged dry bags, dry sacks, packs, duffles, cases and accessories will safeguard your essentials on paddling, camping, hiking, biking or traveling adventures. We believe in making our products well, so we’ve spent years expanding and refining our in-house engineering and manufacturing capabilities, making much of our gear in our own U.S. factory with our own RF welding machines and tools. As adventures and needs have evolved, so too have our capabilities and our products, and we’re proud to still make the best protective gear in the industry.
At Scott, we’ve spent the last 45 years working to perfect the design, craftsmanship, and performance of fly rods. Along this journey, we’ve developed a way of doing things that we call The Scott Difference.
Fly fishing humbles us. It leads anglers to believe we are equal parts super hero and insignificant organism. It allows us to value the progression of cutting-edge technologies while taking joy in worn wading boots, entry-level pickup trucks, river-temperature beers, and afternoons trying to chase skunk off the boat. We at Scientific Anglers believe in a facilitation of the two, an ability to provide consumers with the best products available while enabling them to enjoy the simple, and often best, aspects of our sport.
At Sage, we are anglers and we are craftsman. We are not just a brand, we are workplace, on an island, in Puget Sound. In an era when mass production and mass marketing has infiltrated our lives and our passions, we view our craft and our calling differently. We build the world’s best rods and reels, one at a time, using our hands and hearts. Each rod we make is constructed in our factory with proprietary materials, custom componentry, Made-in-the-USA carbon and a precise process that passes each fly rod through 23 sets of hands and hundreds of steps on its journey. We make things in the same spot where we’ve built up our business during the past four decades. It’s a great place with good fishing. It’s where we call home and where your rod or reel was born.

IMPROVING THE FISHING EXPERIENCE – This has been our tag line since we started because it is also our guiding vision – be that on the water, on the river bank, at the tying table, or chilling by the campfire. Our first products shipped in Jan 2005. In 2009 we entered into an exclusive distribution deal with Umpqua Feather Merchants. . . The arrangement worked ok for both companies, but in the summer of 2012 we made the decision to go our separate ways. By 2012 it was very apparent that our tools were being copied by every accessory company in Fishing and that they would continue to be as long as other people were doing the manufacturing. In 2015 we pivoted again and moved our operations away from the warehouse in Salt Lake City up to a rural property in the mountains and a barn that we turned into a manufacturing center. Currently . . . we are again hammering with R&D and working towards some exciting new products while also refining our production techniques to increase our volume. Future looks good, and thanks to all of you who have made it possible.

Officially founded in 2011, our company has been manufacturing facemasks in the rocky mountains since day one. Originally designed with the needs of ski and snowboard instructors in mind, Phunkshun Wear continues to produce items that stand up to winter weather conditions and protect from the elements. All manufacturing takes place in beautiful Denver, Colorado. We cut, sew, and decorate the products ourselves. No outsourcing over the pond for us, we prefer to have as much of the production process take place under our own roof. This is how we ensure that all our products meet our incredibly strict quality control guidelines.
At Over & Out, we make outdoor gear that is as exciting as the environments its used in. Our handcrafted nets are made in Colorado using American maple, and designed for a lifetime of fishing. Each net receives individual attention and is as wild as the fish they catch. Made in the USA, our tees are designed to keep you feeling good on the trails and during your weekday commute. We believe in protecting and sharing the incredible places we fish, camp, climb and ride. Partnering with like-minded companies and local organizations, were working to fund conservation efforts by donating a portion of our proceeds to nonprofits doing good. When you buy our gear, youre not just buying equipment, youre helping make this world a better place.

And we plan to keep it that way, by using our passion for adventure to craft the finest boats on the water, far into the future.
Our mission is simple to imagine, create, and distribute unique, well-built fly fishing rods at a price point that real people can afford. We craft our rods in hopes they inspire a revival a return to the pure and simple spirit of adventure moments that stir the soul. Our distinctive style is certainly derived from the classics; from our custom reel seats turned from strikingly grained burl woods, to our hand turned cork grips, and high performance rod blanks, every one of our rods whispers the beginning of a unique story – one that’s bound to be epic. All of our Midnight Specials are hand crafted in the USA using high quality foreign components. All of our other rods are assembled, by hand, overseas, utilizing South Korean and Japanese graphite or glass, and top quality hardware. We personally inspect each rod upon receiving them, polish the reel seat and make sure they are awesome before we send them your way. If we could make all of our rods in the USA at our current price points, we would, however it is currently not possible. We’ve chosen to give regular folks the option of buying an exceptionally high quality fly rod made using top end materials, at a price that they can actually afford.
