In 1993, the company relocated to Bozeman, Montana, and introduced breathable waders in a trailblazing partnership with W.L. Gore & Associates (makers of GORE-TEX® fabric). With staunch commitment to U.S.-based manufacturing and business ideals, Simms cemented its Bozeman roots in 2012 with a new 60,000-square-foot facility housing corporate headquarters, warehouses, and its production facility. This expansion provides elbowroom to drive product innovation and solidifies Simms as the sole fishing wader manufacturer in the USA. Today, Simms continues to take the fishing market by storm with a trained eye on fisheries conservation and inspired product development of the world’s premier technical fishing apparel, footwear, and equipment.
