Our mission is simple… to imagine, create, and distribute unique, well-built fly fishing rods at a price point that real people can afford. We craft our rods in hopes they inspire a revival… a return to the pure and simple spirit of adventure… moments that stir the soul. Our distinctive style is certainly derived from the classics; from our custom reel seats turned from strikingly grained burl woods, to our hand turned cork grips, and high performance rod blanks, every one of our rods whispers the beginning of a unique story – one that’s bound to be epic. All of our Midnight Specials are hand crafted in the USA using high quality foreign components. All of our other rods are assembled, by hand, overseas, utilizing South Korean and Japanese graphite or glass, and top quality hardware. We personally inspect each rod upon receiving them, polish the reel seat and make sure they are awesome before we send them your way. If we could make all of our rods in the USA at our current price points, we would, however it is currently not possible. We’ve chosen to give regular folks the option of buying an exceptionally high quality fly rod made using top end materials, at a price that they can actually afford.
